About Us
The Legacy High School Boys soccer program began in the fall of 2013. During the 2013 season with only 9th grade players the boys competed in the JV2 division compiling a 5-10-1 record. In the fall of 2014 Legacy had 2 teams one which played a split schedule of Varisty/Varisty Reserve & a JV2 team. The fall of 2015 Legacy Boys soccer began competing in the WDA of North Dakota. The fall 2016 season was the first time that Legacy had seniors competeing in our program. The Legacy Boys Soccer program made the State Tournament in 2020 season for the first time in program history. Finishing with a record of 11-3-2 and tied for second in the WDA conference. In 2022 they finished second in the WDA regular season and took third at the North Dakota State Soccer Tournament and finished with a record of 14-5-0. In 2023 they tied for the regular season WDA tile with Jamestown and won the WDA tournament title. They made the championship game but lost to Shanley 2-1 and took second at the state tournament finishing with a record of 15-2-2. In 2024 they finished thrid in the WDA with a record of 12-3-4 but won the North Dakota State Soccer Tournament defeating West Fargo in the Championship game..
The Simle Middle School soccer program is the middle school feeder for the Legacy Soccer program. Players in 6th – 8th are developing as soccer players to compete as Sabers. Our feeder grade schools are Pioneer, Miller, Myhre, Sunrise and Saxvik. We are working together with these programs to build consistent soccer training and instil a core value of Legacy Saber Tradition.
